In a very colourful and well organised independent eve celebration, the Chairman of the Oldies the Goodies, Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally, in a grand style was live to grace the independent day celebration with Sierra Leoneans at the Family Kingdom Hall, Aberdeen, Freetown.
As a contributor towards the success of Sierra Leone Entertainment Industry and also one of the oldest members of Oldest the Goodies Entertainment Group, Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally was among the independent celebrants at the Family Kingdom to honour and grace Sierra Leone Independent day. Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally was described as the most influential aspirant of the Sierra Leone People’s Party in the country.
Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally graced the independent day celebration at the Family Kingdom Hall, in solidarity with Unity Freedom and Justice.
Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally stated that, he is the only individual that will bring together in unifying Sierra Leone as one country and one people to enhance development, noting that, “only me will be able to bring the political, tribal and regional divisions in the country, I have been with the People’s Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC), All Peoples Congress (APC) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) parties”.

The famous management consultant Peter Drucker, PhD, once described leadership as being about followership. Leadership is not a title but an ability to inspire fellowship. It is from this perspective, I want to introduce Hon. What we have failed in the past is to identify leaders who have built the economic capital for themselves through self-discipline, strategic interventions and good management style. Late Siaka Probyn Stevens was only identified as a trade unionist with no financial resources to build a political empire, late Sir Milton Margai of blessed memory was a medical doctor with no proven success of financial independence, Late Joseph Saidu Momoh enjoyed promotions in the military but with no financial discipline or success and the self-styled Ernest Koroma was only a broke partner at the Insurance Company, with nothing else. Hon. Alhaji Musa Tarawally on the other hand, is coming into the biggest political office after building himself a multinational financial empire, assets across the globe, with Governance and private sector experience to strengthen investor and donor confidence, unite the country and enterprise the people making them self reliance. His generosity and compassion for party members over 30 years, is the building block of successes in politics. This is why we see him as the man of the moment, the man who has tested the battlefield and come out alive with all his men on his side.
