President Bio Reshuffle Cabinet as More Changes Await

Freetown, 11 August 2026 — The Office of the President has issued a public notice announcing a series of appointments made by His Excellency the President, Brigadier General (Rtd.) Julius Maada Bio. The appointments are subject to the approval of Parliament where applicable.

According to the notice, the following persons have been appointed:

Ministers:

1. Mr. Karefa A. F. Kargbo — Minister of Finance

2. Mr. Mohamed Rahman Swarray — Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
